Judic Barber was a daughter of Manus Barber and Flora van Velzen. She married 7 March 1923 in Amsterdam Machiel Schrijver, a son of Joseph Schrijver and Rebecca Gobetz. The couple had one son: Joseph.
Judic Barber was born in a family of elven children; one brother died at young age and one sister survived the war. Her other siblings, Meijer, Sientje, Elisabeth, Marianne, Sara, Salomon, Frederika and Isaac have been alle killed during the Holocaust.
