Rika Rodrigues Garcia was a daughter of Elias Rodrigues Garcia and Rachel Leeda. She married 3 December 1919 to Philip van de Kar, a son of David van de Kar and Heintje Schraal. The couple had one daughter.
Rika was born in a family with seven children: she self, Rachel, Hanna, Mozes, Benjamin, Rebecca and Clara. They have been killed all during the Holocaust.
