Jacob Ossendrijver was a son of Samuel Ossendrijver and Sara Zwart. He married Anna van Dal in Amsterdam on 23 May 1934, a daughter of Gerrit van Dal and Rebecca Korper. In 1936 their daughter was born, who has survived the Holocaust.
Jacob's brother Abraham and sister Clara have been killed during the Holocaust too.
