Izak cohen was a son of Aron Cohen and Racheltje Polak. He married 15 June 1910 in Amsterdam to Rebecca Vrouwtje Cohen, a daughther of Meijer Cohen and Betje Hijmans. The couple had four children, of whom one son emigrated in 1937 to South America. The other children: Elizabeth Rozet, Aron and Rachel, have been killed durint the Shoah.
