Bemjamin Slager and Rachel Mok were married at Westerbork transit camp on 15 December 1942. He was a rag sorter by trade, and a son of merchant Levie Slager and of Saartje Sluijter. She was a machine stitcher and a daughter of merchant Jonas Mok and of Betje Lakmaker. Lena Mok-de Zoete, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Rosa Ensel-Slager, sister of the bridegroom, served as witnesses at the marriage. They signed the marriage certificate.
