Sara Zak, daughter of Machiel Zak and Judith Olivier, married 24 August 1905 in Amsterdam Marcus Roselaar, a son of Levie Roselaar and Schoontje Waas. The couple had one daughter Jeannette.
Sara was born in a family with twelve children. Two of them have died in childhood. The other children have all been killed during the Holocaust.
