About Esther Drielsma-Elte

The police commissioner of Elst requested that Esther Drielsma, the widow of Abraham Hessel Drielsma and residing at 36 Dorpsstraat in Elst, be located, detained and brought to trial. She was suspected of having changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Esther Drielsma-Elte was a mother of four children. Her son David Abraham Drielsma perished in Mauthausen, the other children survived. Esther Drielsma-Elte went into hiding in Nijmegen and died there during the war.
