Sientje Grootkerk was the daughter of Abraham Mozes Grootkerk and Rozetta Eliazar. She was first married to Hartog Rootveld. from this marriage one son was born: Abraham Hartog Rootveld. After her first husband had died in 1899, Sientje Grootkerk married Gerrit Blom. From this marriage four children were born: Rozetta, Joseph, and two children of whom little information is known.
