Herman Wallega was the representative of the company B.D.L. Leefsma. The company was based in the Bosboomstraat 32 in Huizum.
In early June 1942, at five minutes past three, Herman Wallega bought a bag of apples in the fruit hall of Terpstra in the Schrans in Leeuwarden. It was five minutes after the time that Jews were still allowed to be around the shops. He was betrayed by a NSB member and arrested by the police at his home.
