Philip van Buren, a butcher, was unmarried. He lived at 4 Markt in Dedemsvaart. He played on the first team of the Dedemvaartsche football club.

Philip van Buren, the son of David van Buuren and Betje Philipson was deported to Westerbork between 3 and 5 October 1942. There he was accommodated werd in the barracks 85 and 56. After more than seven months in Westerbork, Philip vas put on transport 25 May 1942 to Sobibor and on arrival there 28 May 1943 he has been immedately killed.
