Bernhard Curt Israel Singer was a German neurologist. He lived at the Noorder Amstellaan in Amsterdam. He became particularly famous as a conductor and musicologist. He wrote a few books about the relationship between music and medicine, including 'Musik und Charakter', 'Berufskrankheiten des Musikers' and 'Heilwirkungen der Musik'. Bernhard Curt Israel Singer was a music critic of the Berlin magazine ’Vorwaerts‘.
