Izak Jacob Swart was the tenth and youngest child of Jesaja Swart and Saartje Levitus. He was born at 241 Sumatrastraat in Amsterdam. He was known as Issie. After completing primary school, he helped his father in his business.
He was taken from his home with his mother on 1 October 1942. The two were deported to Auschwitz together via Westerbork.
