Mozes Magnus was a son of David Magnus and Margje Levie. He married 2 August 1917 in Smilde to Rientje van der Wijk, a daughter of Anthonie van der Wijk and Mettje Nathans.
Also his siblings Simon, Zientje, Grietje, Jacob David, Saartje, Nathan, Klaartje and Jozef have been killed during the Holocaust.
