Johannes Willem Hamburger was the son of Eva Jeanette Marie Hamburger-Kalker. He was arrested and forced to work in Germany. He fled but accidentally walked into an office of the SS in France. He was shot dead on the spot. It is possible this date and place are different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.
