David Salomon Hollander studied medicine in Utrecht, where he sat for his medical finals on 15 March 1929. David Salomon Hollander was married to Bertha Emilie van Essen. They had three children, Daniel Simon, Just David and Emmy Catharina. The family lived at 34 Groesbeekscheweg in Nijmegen. The children were killed in Auschwitz.
