Hartog Daniel Cohen was a cattle dealer. In 1908 he and his wife Bertha Weinstein lived in the Osterstrasse 26 in Leer. In 1938 they settled in Groningen. Their daughter Rachel Schwarz-Cohen lived already in the Netherlands.
