Elkan de Vries and Helena Pagrach were married on 6 October 1942 in Westerbork transit camp. He was a pattern cutter. He was a son of Izak de Vries (deceased) and of Heintje Bobbe. Helena Pagrach, couturier, was a daughter of Hartog Pagrach, shammes, and of Heintje Frankenhuis. The father of the bride, Hartog Pagrach, attended the wedding ceremony and signed the marriage certificate.
