Ephraim Zeeman was a son of Simon Zeeman and Judith Snoek, He married Judik Prijs in Amsterdam on 11 October 1918 but the couple divorced on 30 October 1921. Ephraim married again in Amsterdam on 15 August 1928 to Mietje Schrijver, a daughter of Joseph Schrijver and Rebecca Gobetz.
From a previous marriage of Mietje Schrijver, two daughters were born, who both have survived the Holocaust.
From the marriage of Ephraim Zeeman and Mietje Schrijver, three children have been born: Simon, Judith and Elisabeth.
Siblings, who did not survive the Holocaust either were Barend, Femmetje, Saartje, Josephus, Maria and Daniel.
