Rebecca Appelboom was a daughter of Samuel Gerrit Appelboom and Sipora Salomon Dingsdag. She married Joseph Fransman in 1899 in Amsterdam. He passed away in 1924. They had a daughter Sipora. Grietje and Leentje were children from a previous marriage of Joseph Fransman. Rebecca was murdered on the same day as her brother Gerrit.
