Meijer Heilbron was a son of Emanuel Heilbron and Fijtje Fierlier. He married 9 August 1911 in Zaandam to Vogeltje Kapper, a daughter of Samuel Kapper and Rebecca Gerritse.
The couple had four children, of whom one baby-daughter has died in 1911, only a few months old. The other three children were Sophie, Anna and Samuel.
