Elisabeth Blom was a daughter of Salomon Blom and Hendrika Kosman, who had a family with ten children: Elisabeth herself, Hartog, Duifje, Israel, Nathan, Rachel, Samuel, Barend, Machiel and Greta, who survived the Holocaust.
Elisabeth married in Amsterdam on 2 February 1910 to Aron Kool, son of Levie Kool and Eva Engelsman.
