Vogelina de Rosa was a daughter of Neftalie Andries de Rosa and Gerarda Leeuwendaal. She married in Amsterdam on 27 June 1904 to Isaac de Vries, who passed away there on 16 November 1905. From this marriage a son Gerard was born, who survived the war. Vogelina remarried then on 12 December 1906 in Amsterdam to Joseph van Os.
