The police commissioner, head of the juvenile precinct of Amsterdam, requested that Simon Cohen, who lived at 8 Celierstraat, ground floor, and been missing since 16 July 1942, be located. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. Identifying characteristics: 'about 5'10" tall, heavy build, dark-brown hair, grey-blue eyes, round face, healthy complexion; wearing a blue gabardine raincoat, a grey suit, low black shoes, a blue shirt; bareheaded.'
