The police commissioner, head of the juvenile precinct in Amsterdam, requested that Aron van Beetz, residing at 30 Christiaan de Wetstraat in Amsterdam, be located. He had been missing since 8 July 1942. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. 'Identifying characteristics: about 5'1" tall, black hair, dark eyes, round face, healthy complexion; dressed in a grey suit, low brown shoes, blue shirt, red tie, bareheaded.'
