In Het Joodsche Weekblad of August 1941, an obituary was placed for Joseph Rimini. The entry was made by the direction and staff of the N.V. Amsterdamse Lederwarenhandel formerly Gompers & Co. The accompanying message was: 'Never will we nor do we want to forget him who gave the best of himself to our business for 13 years.'
Joseph Rimini reached 'the hopeful age of 26 years'. The ad does not mention that he was killed in Mauthausen.
