Mirjam Dwinger married in Februari 1901 to Aron Kanter. They had two daughters together: Penina (1903) and Hanna (1913). In January 1923 the marriage ended in a divorce.
In April 1940 was Mirjam registered as patient in the Jewsih psychiatric hospital the Apeldoornsche Bosch. From there she was deported together with the other patients.
