About Robbert Cijfer

Robbert Cijfer was unmarried. He lived in Amsterdam where he studied philosophy. He was a distributor of the illegal paper 'Het Parool' and he wrote poems in the 'Parade der profeten'. He was probably picked up on 31 March 1945 during an attack on a German in Zijpe and executed by firing squad. He was buried in the dunes by Overveen on the military cemetery Bloemendaal.
