Mozes Geleerd, the son of Jacob Geleerd and Elisabeth Polak, was a shopkeeper in Rotterdam. He married Bertha Haas on 19 May 1908. Three children were born to the couple. Bertha Haas and one of the children died of tuberculosis in 1919. One child survived the war.
