Jacob Breemer was a son of Jonas Breemer and Marianne Vuijsje. He married Gittla Perla Goldblatt from Poland on 5 January 1929 in Hamburg, a daughter of Salomon Goldblatt and Pinie Rachel Freund. In 1931 their daughter Marianne has been born in Hamburg.
On 4 October 1938 the family arrived in Holland and was registered at the address Dijkstraat 41 III in Amsterdam. However, on 8 April 1941 Gittla Perla Goldblatt passed away and a few months later, on 24 September 1941, Jacob Breemer remarried Sara Marcus from Danzig , a daughter of Bernard Marcus and Friederike Roback. Sara Marcus, who came from Berlin to Amsterdam in December 1938, was previously divorced in 1932 from her first husband Hugo Landau
Jacob Breemer arrived "ohne Aufruf" (without being called up) on 12 September 1942 in Westerbork and was deported 14 September together with his daughter Marianne and his 2nd wife Sara Marcus to Auschwitz where they on arrival there on 17 September 1942 immedately were killed.
