Evalina van Praag was a daughter of Zacharias van Praag and Schoontje Geleerd. She married 24 August 1904 in Zaandam Levi Heijman, a son of Meijer Philip Heijman and Henrietta de Jongh. The couple had five children of whom their daughters Henrietta and Mina and their son Meijer Philip have been killed during the Shoah.
Evalina van Praag was registered on 22 January 1943 in transit camp Westerbork where she stayed in barack 70. On 9 February she has been deported to Auschwitz, where she upon arrival there on 12 February has been killed. Her husband Levi Heijman passed away already before the war in Gendringen on 26 April 1938.
Evalina van Praag was born in a family of six children: she self, David, Betje, Henri, Levie and Louis. They all have been killed during the Shoah.
