Kalmer Salomons was a son of Isaac Salomons and Jette Salomons. He married 14 April 1926 in Amsterdam Matje van IJssel, a daughter of Isaak van IJssel and Esther Levie Rijnveld. The couple had no children.
Kalmer was born into a family of six children. One brother probably has survived the war and another sister died already in 1913, 30 years old. However, he self, his brother Jonas and his sisters Betje and Jeannette have been killed during the Shoah.
