Esther Schelvis was a daughter of Nathan Schelvis and Duifje Dagloonder. She married 2 January 1918 in Amsterdam to Levie Pach, a son of David Pach and Golde van Duijm. The couple had two daughters: Golda and Duifje.
Levie Pach however passed away on 9 February 1930 and was interred the 11th in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. Esther Schelvis remarried three years later, on 7 June 1933 in Amsterdam Levie’s first cousin David Pach, a son of Philip Pach and Roosje Koopman.
From this marriage no children have been born.
