Catharina Voorzanger was a daughter of Aron Voorzanger and Naatje Oppenheijm. She married Philip Theeboom in Amsterdam on 11 December 1901, a son of Izaak Theeboom and Lea Toledo. Catharina and Philip had eight children together, of whom two daughters have survived the Holocaust. The other childeren, Izaak, Lea, Anna, Debora, Aron and Rachel have been killed all during de Shoah.
On 19 March 1941 Philip Theeboom passed away in Amsterdam and Catharina became a widow. Philip Theeboom has been interred on 20 March 1941 in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Catharina self was registered in Westerbork on 21 September 1942, deported to Auschwitz on 28 September and after arrival there on 1 October killed in the gaschambers of Auschwitz.
