Gaston Léon Diependaal from Den Bosch was a son of Joseph Diependaal and Marianne van Mindeno. He married Jetje den Arend from Rotterdam on 26 February 1930 in Rotterdam, a daughter of Salomon den Arend and Leentje van Vlies. The couple had two sons: Salomon Arnold en Joseph. Gaston Léon Diependaal and his eldest son Joseph have been killed 11 June 1943 in Sobibor, whilst the youngest son Salomon Arnold and his mother Jetje den Arend, have been killed a few weeks later, on 2 July 1943, also in Sobibor.
