Henriette Appelboom, a daughter of Mozes Appelboom and Sippora Boas, married 26 November 1930 in Amsterdam Alexander Bartels, a son of Simon Bartels and Annaatje Leeuwin. With Alexander, she had a daughter in 1932, named Nora. Henriette, her husband Alexander and daughter Nora has been sent to Camp Westerbork on 6 September 1942 and already the next day, 7 September sent to Auschwitz. Upon arrival there on 10 September 1942, Henriette and Nora have been killed immediately but her husband Alexander succumbed of typhus there on 26 September 1942 - this according information received by the Jewish Council of Amsterdam from the "Civil Registry" of Auschwitz..
