Two children survived

Coenraad was the second husband of my great grandmother Heintje Gobus. Although they had no children together, he was the beloved grandfather of my mother Isabel Polak.

Coenraad Bromet emigrated to Chile where his son Abraham Bromet lived 1914-1939 who suffered typhus. He went to help him but he was late, Abraham had died when he landed in Chile. He lived in the South American country with Heintje and his son Meyer Polak who loved him as a true dad. His two granddaughters, Isabel and Elaine say he was very affectionate, always remembered with great pain his whole family who died in the war. Many tears always accompanied him. His brother Samuel also lived in Chile with his wife Estela. They had no children.
