He was the head of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA) and was a key operator in planning and carrying out the Endlösung. In addition to being head of the RSHA, Heydrich was in charge of the Sipo and the SD. In 1941 Heydrich was instructed to prepare the total destruction of European Jewry. In early 1942 he organized the Wannsee Conference toward this end. Heydrich was liquidated by Czech resistance fighters.
