Thank you for contacting us for information about your grandfather. I wish to inform, that in the collection of partially saved documentation of KL Auschwitz, I have found the following information:
Jacques de Jong, date and place of birth unknown, was deported from Westerbork on an RSHA transport which arrived to KL Auschwitz on March 25, 1944. He was registered as prisoner number 175622. On April 20, 1944 he was noted in the record books of camp infirmary for prisoners at Auschwitz III-Monowitz (Buna) whence he was transferred to KL Auschwitz II-Birkenau on April 30, 1944. There is no additional information about him.

I would like to explain, that during the evacuation and liquidation of KL Auschwitz by order of the camp authorities, almost all important documents of KL Auschwitz, including prisoners’ personal files, were destroyed. On the basis of the partially saved documents, it is impossible to assent full and accurate information on all the persons who were imprisoned at the camp.
