Jacob Krywanowski was born in Amsterdam. Together with his parents Isaac and Sara Krywanowski and sister Rivka he fled Amsterdam. The family was arrested in Chalon-sur-Saone while trying to cross the Line of Demarcation. They were all interned in Pithiviers and deported from Drancy on convoy 24 on August 26, 1942.
