Max and his sister Janny, about 1941. Janny - Miriam Bezek- imigrated to Israel and lieved until Febuary 2015 to the age of 97.

Max's menorah was found under the floor of the house. When it was left before they went into hiding.
Also found in the box: Wally's gold watch, a sum of money, some more valuables, documents, and photos. The menorah is today in the house of Max’s niece: Selma Barzel.

Max was the younger brother of Jannie, my mother. She survived the war and immigrated to Israel in 1948. In Israel, her name was Miriam Bezek. She remembered him as her only and beloved brother. She had in her Albums many pictures of him when they were children.
