Hartog Gazan wordt geboren in Sommelsdijk 15.06.1890. Hij trouwt op 27.11.1918 met Antje Polak, geb. 03.08.1884 in Middelharnis. Na het huwelijk gaan zij in Amsterdam wonen, maar via Ouddorp komen zij in 1922 terug naar Middelharnis.
