Eva Emelie Hertog was a daughter of Lodewijk Hertog and Cornelia Marx. Eva Emelie departed in 1895 from Meerssen to go to Brussels. In Belgium she married watch maker Samuel Graf. They settled in Sint-Jans Molenbeek. In 1914 the couple went to Leeuwarden. They divorced in 1927. They had a son.
