Jacob van Gelder

Jacob van Gelder was the eldest son of Machiel van Gelder and Sarah de Roos. He married 12 April 1928 in Haarlem to the non-Jewish widow of Franciscus Hendrikus Jacobus van Bennekom, Dirkje Paardenkooper.

Jacob van Gelder joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 1 October 1914. On Wednesday, 11 November 1942, around 4:30 PM, Willy Lages conducted the Sicherheitspolizei raid on the Hollandia factories.
