Jonas Salomon Jacob, sales representative and a son of Meijer Jacob (chief conductor) and Aaltje Valk, married in Gieten 29 April 1932 Jetta Alida Valk, a daughter of Benjamin Valk and Bartha Wallage. The couple had a daughter, Bartha Emilia and a son, Leon. The family lived in the Petrus Driessenstraat 20 in Groningen, opposite the Nautical College.
