Hendrika Alexandra Magnus-Lezer

On 15 April 1945 in the afternoon the English liberated Bergen-Belsen. Unfortunately Hendrika Alexandra Magnus-Lezer had become so weak because of the hunger that all help came too late. She died on the morning of 18 April in the arms of her sister.

Jacob Magnus werd geboren op 6 maart 1919 in Assen. Hij was de zoon van David Magnus en Henriette Magnus-Heilbronn. Jacob had een jongere broer, Heiman geboren in 1921, en een zusje, Klara Bertha geboren in 1927. Het gezin woonde aan de Rolderstraat 54 in Assen. De vader van Jacob had aan de Rolderstraat een paardenslagerij en Jacob werkte bij hem in de zaak.
