Mevrouw Joos Postma in Nederland vond, tussen de papieren van haar vader Kees Postma, deze brief van Elias, geschreven vanuit Westerbork. Na bijna op de dag af 69 jaar geleden, is de brief aangekomen bij de zoon van Elias, Yehuda Pakkedrager (Kedar), in kiboets Sde-Nechemya in Israel.
