Levie is een zoon van Barend Gobits en Jetje van Straten. Hij trouwde 13 november 1912 met Judith is een dochter van Jacob Reens en Anna Reens. Ze trouwde 13 november 1912 met Levie Gobits (A'dam, 2 april 1885 - A'dam, 9 mei 1966).
