A postcard from Hijman Naarden from Westerbork (barack 69) to his children and grandchildren, dated 24 March 1943, which reads (free translated):
"Dear children and grandchildren, In the letter mother writes, you will find everything you should know. This postcard is for that too small. We are healthy only I have catched a cold, but that happens in other families too. Felix, please send us a few envellopes and paper. Do not send any goods anymore as we have the risk to leave that all when we will be sent eastwards. What we like to have and what you may send to us, mother will write that in her letter. Then, in the cupboard in the livingroom are still some notes for 2 1/2 liters of milk at Bruinisse. They are to find in a cup. And now, all warmest regards for you all from your father.
