Carla Celina Morpurgo

Carla Celina Morpurgo has been deported on 4 April 1944, together with her parents, sister and brother and grandmother, with Convoy 24 from Mechelen to Auschwitz, where it has arrived on the 7th of April.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 12682) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for :
- looted jewellery (S-claim, number 16/33)
- valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 8583/22148)
