Bertha Louise Bloemendal was born on 12 August 1929 in the Hague.
(She was murdered on 01 October 1942, Auschwitz). She was aged 13.
Betty was a classmate of Anne Frank, in the period 1941-1942. Anne Frank writes about Betty in her diary. Betty was also present at her birthday party. On 21 September 1942, Anne writes that she heard Betty was deported to Poland.

Betty had attended the birthday party of Anne Frank. She was also a classmate.

A testimonial given to Yad Vashem, regarding Abraham's fate. He was sent to an extermination camp / concentration camp and murdered.
This is from his niece (who survived by hiding in the house Jeruzalem St, 31, Velp), Edith Soffer.

Op 3 juni 1942 werd Jochwet Feige gesignaleerd op de markt Ten Katestraat, die voor Joden was verboden. Ze probeerde aan aanhouding te ontkomen door te zeggen dat ze daar woonde, en later door aan te geven dat ze daar iets kwam afleveren. De politieman Pieter Groen merkte ook op dat ze haar ster niet volgens voorschrift op de jas had genaaid, maar los had opgespeld. De volgende dag werd ze overged…
